★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 明治5年(1872)に宝妙寺境内で啓蒙舎として学業を始め1900年に現在地に校舎が建築されたとの事で歴史のある小学校です
校舎南側には第3、9代内閣総理大臣山縣有朋揮毫の注連柱、北側には陸軍大将宇垣一成揮毫の戦没者慰霊碑があります
It is an elementary school with a long history because it started studying as an enlightenment building in the precincts of Takaramyo Temple in 1872 and the school building was built at the present location in 1900.
On the south side of the school building is the Shimenawa pillar of the 3rd and 9th Prime Minister Aritomo Yamagata, and on the north side is the memorial to the war dead of Kazushige Ugaki, the army general.
