★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 石部神社は719年に鎮座と伝えられれ、その記念樹として植樹さえたと伝わる樹齢1300年とも言われる２本の門杉は巨大でありながらも人の手による治療も受けつつ痛々しい姿も見せています。赤穂藩の所領でもあり、赤穂藩城主である浅野家の崇敬も格別であったことから、この杉を見て赤穂藩の自慢の一つであると思っていたのかなと考えながら、この巨木を見るのも楽しいです。
