T	Takeshi W on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 源範頼が創建したといわれる神社、本殿は国の重要文化財です。由緒は・・・ 1184年兄の源頼朝の命を受け源範頼が総大将として平家討伐に向かう途中、上地の豪族である藤六の屋敷で休息した折、庭にある小さな神社に気付きました。範頼はこの神社は何の神様をお祀りしているのか藤六に尋ねました。藤六は八幡宮をお祀りしておりますと答えると、範頼はとても喜び、八幡宮は源氏の氏神であり守護神であるといってこの八幡宮に日頃の御礼を申し上げ、平家との戦いに向け勝利を祈願されたのでした。そして範頼は「私がこの戦で勝利を収めることができたのなら、この神社をもっと立派な社殿に建て替えさせて欲しい」と言い残して戦に向かったそうです。範頼はみごと平家との戦に勝利し、これは勝運の守護神・八幡宮の御神徳による勝利だと・・・三河の守護に就いた範頼は、感謝を込めて1190年立派な社殿を寄進造営し、新たに鎌倉の鶴ヶ岡八幡宮の御分霊を併せてお祀りしました。 The main shrine, which is said to have been built by Minamoto no Nori, is an important cultural property of Japan. Noriyori won the battle with the Heike, and this was a victory by the god of luck, the guardian deity of Hachimangu. Noriyori, who was the guardian of Mikawa, donated and built a magnificent shrine in 1190 with gratitude, and newly enshrined the spirit of Tsurugaoka Hachimangu in Kamakura.
