I heard that it is a restaurant with a reputation for eating delicious meat in Shibuya and visited it. I didn't have a reservation, so I thought it would be tough, but I was just in time. I was really lucky because the people who followed me said "I'm sorry." I ordered several dishes, but I enjoyed the delicious meat according to the reputation. We recommend two dishes, beef tataki and sirloin steak. If you go with more than one person, you can eat without worrying about the amount even if you ask for both without hesitation. I want to replace it. And this is also a very popular omelet. I was worried because there were too many types and choices of toppings, soup stock, and eggs, but first I tried simply no toppings, the soup stock was light, and the eggs were as recommended by the staff. The fluffy and melty taste is just as popular. Looking at the salmon roe toppings ordered by others passing by, the salmon roe is thick. Next is absolutely how much. In addition, you can enjoy the menu using vegetables and tonpeiyaki. There are still many attractive menus such as grilled dumplings, ajillo, and toast. It looks like it will be a shop that you have to go to. I found it difficult for the chef to handle it alone in the open kitchen in the middle of the store.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This restaurant was right next to our Airbnb and although we could not find too much about it online in terms of reviews, we decided to give it a shot. We are so happy we did, because it was such a charming little hidden gem tucked away on a side street in Udagawacho and it deserves a lot more attention than what it currently has!
The staff in the restaurant did not speak English, however they handed us an English menu the moment we walked in (with pictures of the various dishes), and they were incredibly warm and welcoming. Note that there is a 400 yen/person cover charge, which includes a small appetizer (salad). We were lucky enough to be seated right in front of the teppan grill, where we could interact with the chefs (in broken Japanese) and watch them work their magic. Although there was a language barrier, they were joking around with us and seemed to be having a great time. It was clear they put a lot of passion into what they do and that they enjoy their work, which added to our excellent experience.
The dishes were all small share plates which allows you to order several. Between two of us, we managed to try five in total: the mixed sashimi plate, gyoza, beef tataki, pork okonomiyaki, and the potato salad topped with egg and (what I think was) crab meat. Everything we ate was prepared fresh and was an explosion of flavour. The beef tataki in particular was delicious and melted in our mouths. We could see the piece of beef before it went on to the grill to be seared, and it was a perfectly marbled, beautiful piece of beef. The okonomiyaki was also a very interesting combination of flavours, including egg, ginger, cheese, scallions, pork, a brown sauce, and dried fish flakes. Although this sounds like a very random combination of ingredients, they married together so well and every bite had the perfect balance of sweetness, saltiness, and umami.
The restaurant's décor was traditional Japanese (including a few tables where you could sit in the traditional fashion on cushions), however there was a modern look to it. This was one of our favourite experiences in Tokyo, and I'd highly recommend it to anyone looking for a tasty and reasonably priced meal in Shibuya.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ There were 10 of us with 2 kids and we booked the 7 course meal with unlimited drinks for 5000 yen. The portion is ridiculously small, 1 person gets 1 small cube of beef. It’s almost like the portion was divided by 3. They definitely DID NOT give us 10 adult potions. The service for food was slow as well. A few food options on the menu were sold out at 7:55 pm. The place did not accept Amex cards as well. And they chased us out right on the dot at 9pm. I will NOT go back to this place as it is a rip off, so disappointing.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing izakaya food in Shibuya. Off the beaten path but great vibes and food is delicious. All very good Japanese comfort food with a menu that has pics and English. Highly recommend.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We came here on a rainy day when we saw they had some of the better reviews for the restaurants in the area. A TOTAL HIDDEN GEM. The dishes are small and full of taste and delight. We ordered the mushroom and avocado dish- served warm and full of taste, fully recommended. The smoked chicken, the steak, the egg with potatoes, fried rice, and the napoleon spaghetti- all delightful, the mushroom and avocado coming at the top of our list.
The egg roll is a literal roll of flattened eggs, it was fluffy, not as tasteful as other dishes.
The tea cocktails are tea with a shot of liquor- tastes mostly like spiked tea, fun. We LOVED this experience, service was fast and great, the people are young and good at what they do. You can watch the chef cook your food right there behind the bar area.
THANK YOU FOR SUCH A DELICIOUS EXPERIENCE!
