★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 『ユーコープ岡崎店』ならでは！といった特徴はほぼありません。ですが、この店に来るといつも「スーパーは大きければ良いというものではないな」と感じます。
普段から無駄な買い物はしないように意識はしていても、大きいスーパーに行くとつい、それまで買うつもりがなかった食品に目移りしてしまいます。その多くが自分で作れるもの、食べることが贅沢になるようなものばかりで、何とか買わずに他で代用できないかと広い店内をうろうろと歩き回り、時間を浪費してしまいます。小規模なスーパーであれば、そもそも無駄に食欲をそそるような商品はそう多くはありません。
また大型店の買い物客の中には「それ全部食べるの？」と聞いてみたくなるような、大量の食品を複数のカゴに満載している家族連れをちらほらと見かけます。レジに並ばされている側からすると、食べきれなくて捨ててしまう食品、あるいは『いらないお肉の材料(笑)』になる食品のせいで待ち時間が伸びるのにはうんざりです。
そんな日常のせいで、「飽和状態のコンビニがどんどん業態変換して『ユーコープ岡崎店』のような小規模スーパーになればいいのに」などと思ってしまいます。
Unique to "You Corp Okazaki Store"! There is almost no such feature. However, when I come to this store, I always feel that "a supermarket is not good if it is big".
Even though I'm always conscious of not doing unnecessary shopping, when I go to a big supermarket, I tend to shift to foods that I didn't intend to buy before. Most of them are things that you can make yourself, or things that make you feel lavish to eat, and you spend time wandering around in the large store wondering if you can substitute for something else without buying one. In a small supermarket, there aren't many products that are uselessly appetizing in the first place.
Also, some shoppers in large stores have a glimpse of families with a large amount of food in multiple baskets that makes you want to ask, "Do you want to eat it all?" From the side of the cash register, I'm tired of waiting because of foods that I can't eat and throw away, or foods that become "unnecessary meat ingredients (laughs)."
Because of such everyday life, I wonder, "I wish the convenience store in a saturated state could be converted to more and more business formats to become a small-scale supermarket like "Yukop Okazaki store"."
