★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 元々古墳だったものをちょっとだけ整備した公園で、住宅地に隣接している。一番高いところは標高130mあり、この辺りで一番高い場所と思われる。公園内は起伏に富み、高低差は10メートルあるだろう。公園内にトイレはない。古墳はその形状から方墳に分類される。古墳の年代は確定していないが、比較的近くにある方墳の年代は西暦700年代であることがわかっている。この古墳の被葬者はその当時のこの地域の豪族と想像されている。
もちろん野鳥が棲んでいる。

廿山北古墳の周辺に設けられた公園です。
今日の雨で、ソメイヨシノはほとんど散ってしまっていて残念でしたが、公園看板の近くのシダレザクラは、しのつく雨にもかかわらず、しぶとく花を咲かし続けていました。

It was a pity that the Yoshino cherry tree was almost scattered by today's rain, but the weeping cherry tree near the park sign continued to bloom in spite of the heavy rain.
