あの暗闇と恐怖、正解のない中、学校の先生達のリーダーシップに感謝したいです。本当に素晴らしいものがありました。懐中電灯ひとつで照らしながら、ちょくちょく避難してくる人々を何度も遅くまで誘導されていました。
ずーっと、休みなく。朝は避難食から、新たに入る情報、安否確認情報、少数の先生達が人々を不屈の精神のごとく絶え間なく導いていました。とても安心した記憶があります。
当時の先生達へ、学校へここで感謝させてください。
I was evacuated during the Great East Japan Earthquake. This is a new story.
I want to thank the school teachers for their leadership in the darkness, fear, and lack of the right answer. There was something really amazing. While illuminating with a single flashlight, people were often guided to evacuate many times until late.
Always, without a break. In the morning, from the evacuation food, new information, safety confirmation information, and a small number of teachers led the people like a fortitude. I have a very reassuring memory.
Let the teachers of that time thank the school here.

This is my alma mater. When I was attending, the reinforced school building was under construction and I spent time in a wooden school building. The statue of Kinjiro Ninomiya has been around since that time.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ まだ、木造の校舎でした。木枠の窓を開けていると、カッコーの鳴き声が聞こえました。照明はなく、曇ると黒板が見えなくなりました。冬は石炭ストーブで日直になると朝早めに出て石炭運びをしてストーブに火をつけるのが大変でした。丸光デパートのオルゴールが懐かしいです。
It was still a wooden school building. When I opened the window of the wooden frame, I heard a cuckoo cry. There was no lighting, and when it became cloudy, the blackboard disappeared. In winter, it was difficult to get out early in the morning to carry coal and light the stove when it was a day shift on a coal stove. I miss the music box of Marumitsu department store.
