★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 青い森鉄道発足後に初めて新規に開業した駅です。近くに青森高校があります。小さい駅ながら、上り下りホームにそれぞれエレベーターがあり、バリアフリー化がされていました。また、待合室内に自動券売機があります。
