★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 発売日に買いに行ったらまだ出てなかったので、近くにいた店員に聞いたら前のが12月に出たばかりなので当分出ないと思いますよ、と言われてしまいました。
こっちは最新刊の発売日に来たにも関わらず、調べたり探したりしようとせず、そう言いきってしまうんだな～…と。
もしかしたら店員とは言え、全部を把握しているわけではないんだなと感じました。
それ以上何も言わず、別の書店で買って帰りました。

I bought it at another bookstore and went home without saying anything further.
