地元では枝垂れ桜で有名な神社とのことです。
歴史好きには、近くに菅沼本城があり、この津島神社も菅沼氏にゆかりがあるのかもしれません。
鳥居の先には長い直線の参道が登り傾斜であり、視覚的に奥のお社がより遠くに鎮座されているように見え、村の村社以上の佇まいです。
新城市や豊田市の市街地で桜開花されてから、1週間くらい後が枝垂れ桜の見頃だそうです。今年再度枝垂れ桜を見に来たいと思います。

At the end of the torii, a long straight approach is an uphill slope, and visually the shrine in the back seems to be enshrined farther, which is more like a village shrine.
It is said that the weeping cherry blossoms are in full bloom about a week after the cherry blossoms bloom in the urban areas of Shinshiro City and Toyota City. I would like to come to see the weeping cherry tree again this year.
