It is called "Tsukioka", but it is located some distance from the hot spring town. There are only a few buses a day from the station to the hot spring area on weekdays. The shuttle bus does not pass through this station and departs from / to Hoei Station.

The shuttle bus to Tsukioka Onsen departs from Toyosaka Station on the Hakushin Line, not here! Even if you get off at Tsukioka Station by mistake, you can only go to the hot springs by taxi or 4km on foot on Saturdays and holidays, so be careful. Tsukioka Station is the closest station to Ichishima Tei.

On weekends and holidays, Tsukioka Onsen is 4 km on foot because there is no bus service. The station is unmanned.

Established as Tenno Nitta Station in the first year of the Taisho era Renamed to Tsukioka Station in 1950. The site of the station was donated by Mr. Tokujiro Ichishima, the landowner.

Tsukioka station stands in a quiet place. This is an unmanned station. There are minimum facilities such as public telephones, vending machines, and mailboxes. For Niigata, cross the overpass. It is compatible with Suica.
