Zawa on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 勝鬨橋からの夜景は隅田川に架かる橋がライトアップされていてとても美しい。特に今の時期はオリンピック開催中でその為かライトアップもオリンピックカラーになっている。また、東京タワーと手前の浜離宮が橋の上から一望できる。 The night view from Kachidoki Bridge is very beautiful because the bridge over the Sumida River is lit up. H	Hi de on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 2021年12月の元築地市場の工事状況です。地図では分かりにくいですが、築地（新橋側）から海の方（勝どき側）へ抜けるのに左側の歩道はストレートに渡れることを確認しています。橋からは更地になった築地市場跡地や、また往時は賑やかであったろう桟橋も見ることができます。こんな立派な橋があるなんて知らなかったな。 This is the construction status of the former Tsukiji Market in December 2021. It's hard to see on the map, but I've confirmed that the sidewalk on the left side can be crossed straight from Tsukiji (Shimbashi side) to the sea (Kachidoki side). From the bridge, you can see the site of the Tsukiji Market, which has become a vacant lot, and the pier, which used to be lively. I didn't know there was such a great bridge.

This is the last bridge over the 隅田川 Sumidagawa [River] before the waterway joins 東京湾 Tōkyōwan [Bay]. 築地大橋 Tsukiji Ōhashi [Great Bridge] was opened sometime in 2019. Japanese Wikipedia indicates a Nov. 2018 opening. The first I heard of it being used was in a SoraNews24 piece about the move of the Fish Market from Tsukiji to Toyosu including moving a fleet of small turret trucks to the new site across the bridge. (Oct. 2018) However, when I visited in January 2019, the bridge was not in use and off limits. It was about half open in Jan. 2020 when I crossed the downriver side of the bridge as a pedestrian. The north sidewalk was not yet opened. The bridge seemed complete long before it was opened. I have always thought it was finished for the Olympics. The bridge has a pair of flared arch supports that make it seem like a pair of lips kissing the sky.
