★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 群馬・太田労働基準監督署は、労働者にプレス機を操作させる際に必要な特別教育を実施しなかったとして、自動車用金属部品製造業の㈱塚越製作所（群馬県太田市）と同社代表取締役を労働安全衛生法第59条（安全衛生教育）違反の容疑で前橋地検太田支部に書類送検した。平成29年４月、同社で働いていたインドネシア国籍の技能実習生が死亡する労働災害が発生している。
同労基署によるとプレス機に故障の痕跡はなく「実習生がプレス機に頭部を挟まれた理由は不明」だという。災害調査から法律で義務付けられている特別教育を実施していないことが明らかになった。

The Gunma-Ota Labor Standards Inspection Office said that Tsukagoshi Manufacturing Co., Ltd. (Ota City, Gunma Prefecture) of the automobile metal parts manufacturing industry and the company's representative director said that they did not provide special education necessary for workers to operate the press machine. Was sent to the Maehashi District Inspection Ota Branch on suspicion of violating Article 59 (Safety and Health Education) of the Industrial Safety and Health Act. In April 2017, an industrial accident occurred in which an Indonesian national technical intern working at the company died.
According to the same labor office, there is no sign of failure in the press machine, "It is unknown why the trainee was caught in the press machine." The disaster survey revealed that the special education required by law was not implemented.
