★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 私有地なので確かめられないけれど、多分塚越の地名の由来になったと思われる塚。風土記にすでに古い塚とあるので、かなり古いものと思います。
Because it is privately owned, it can not be confirmed, but it is likely to be the origin of the place name of Tsukakoshi. As it is already an old mound in Fudoki, I think it is quite old.

武蔵の国の橘樹郡が成立した頃に作られたと推定されている。いままでの調査で、周囲にたくさんの埴輪が発掘され、中心部に石積みの綺麗な様子も発見されている。主体部も現存し今後発掘調査が行われる予定。
This is a privately owned tumulus that is being investigated by the Kawasaki Board of Education.
It is presumed that it was created when Tachibana-gun in Musashi was established. To date, many clay figures have been excavated around the area, and a beautiful stone masonry has been found in the center. The main body is still existing and excavations will be conducted in the future.
