超濃厚鶏白湯本気の水炊きコースを頂きましたが、味は想像したより良かったです。 何よりお勧めは調味料として並んでいる味噌です。これ単品で実はおいしく頂けます。 店の作りはオープンスペースなので騒がしい為、少人数でワイワイしたい時用です。 女の子の服装は短めの和装です。

おばあちゃんの梅酒とほうれん草のサラダ、しめ鯖を頂きました。 美味しかったです。 味が濃い目でチョット好みが分かれるかな…ただ、無料の水が本気で美味しかったのには流石だと思いました。 梅酒はグイグイいけますが度数はそれなりにありますので要注意(笑) 店員さんの接客は気持ち良いくらいスマートです。 店内は良い感じに明かりのトーンが抑えられてますが薄暗くはなく、開放的。 値段はチェーンの居酒屋に比べるとやや高目ですが、と言っても1割程度なので気持ちよく美味しくいただくなら是非!

塚田農場全体的にメニューが少なくなっている。 以前はメインとなる料理がいくつかあったが、今は地鶏ぐらい。 サービスも低下した。 地鶏を下げたら、前はガーリックチャーハンをサプライズで作ってくれていたが、それも無い。 今回は久々に行ったら、メインが少なくてがっかりした。 地鶏とその他を頼んで早々に転戦した。

出張で来て初めて入りました。 宮崎郷土料理の居酒屋さんです。 地鶏の炭焼きは柔らかくてジューシーでとても旨かった。

食べ物はどれ食べても美味しかった。店員さんも気がきいていて良かったです。 でも飲み放題がなくてコスパ悪いのは気になりました。あと全席喫煙できたのも、タバコ吸わない人からしたら厳しいです。

Tsukada Nojo Nichinan (塚田農場日南市) has been around a while - opening in Fukushima City about a year after our 2011.3.11 earthquake - but it took me until now to discover this gem. Maybe I mistakenly dismissed it as just another chain restaurant. Well, OK, you could call Tsukada Nojo Nichinan a chain, but "collection" might be a better word. Google shows a number of them in Tokyo, but their roots are here in northeastern Japan. They make a point of sourcing various local food and drink (sake and shochu), but hey, if you want a Heineken, they'll serve you a Heineken. Right away, I was impressed by the otōshi (お通し). Too often this is little more than a token snack to justify a cover charge. Tsukada Nojo Nichinan's ¥390 otōshi (picture attached) is a plate with cabbage and the customer's choice of two: edamame, paprika (a.k.a. bell pepper or capsicum), and daikon. These can be eaten with a savory relish that is already on the table in a small wood-topped ceramic jar. My surprise at the end of the meal was that a ¥480 scoop of ice cream, embellished to look like a white bear (白熊アイス) had even more pieces of fruit hidden at the bottom of the cup. I'm usually not big on sweets, but this simple dessert reminded me of a beloved niece's happy childhood. The wait staff were friendly. On arrival, one young lady asked if I wanted an English menu. I declined (although in retrospect, it might have been good to have a look, in order to comment intelligently about it in this review). Thereafter, we conversed merrily in Japanese, including about party plans, about which she provided a small leaflet. As I was just out the door, taking a final picture, two of the waitstaff came out with a tiny carry-away sample of the savory relish I had enjoyed with the otōshi. Chains, or collections, can be national or regional, but service should always be local, and indeed, it was.
