カ	カミカツ on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 30年ほど前にお世話になりました。息子が5歳位の頃で、白雲荘の、たしか3歳になる娘さんが、久しぶりに同年代の子どもがお客で来たと、大はしゃぎで迎えてくれました。お母様、いや若女将は、町から離れているので、娘さんの遊び相手がいないのが悩み、と仰っていました。木彫作家でもある御主人は、高村光太郎が愛したこの宿と奥様に惚れて、埼玉の市役所を早期退職して宿の主となった、と伺いました。酔余、夜中に河原の湯に浸かっていたら、先に上がったグループ客に石段の電灯を消されてしまい、漆黒の闇の中を泥だらけになりながら今は無き母屋に戻ったことを、懐かしく覚えています。翌日、私たちは女沼までハイクに行ったのですが、聞き間違えたのか、御祖母様、いや大女将が、私たちに会いたいとせがむお孫さんをおぶって男沼で私たちをずっと待っておられたのだそうです。嗚呼！全ては追憶の彼方の出来事となってしまいました。この7月で休業されると伺いました。近々伺おうと思っておりましたので、大変残念です。またあの甘露のような湯に浸かることのできる日をいつまでも待っております。女将様、ご家族様にはどうかご健勝でお過ごしください。ありがとうございました。 I was taken care of about 30 years ago.
