The castle ruins of the Tsuchiya clan that occupies this area from the early days of the Kamakura Shogunate to the beginning of the 15th century. It is speculated that Honmaru was near the Daijo-in Temple to the north and the building was on the terrace in the south. The surrounding Kumano Shrine and Kifune Shrine were also part of the castle.

It is a very good castle ruins. Tsuchiya-sama's ruins, which had ruled this land since the end of the Heian period, 1416, Uesugi Zenshu's rebellion killed all 50 clan members, and then the Tsuchiya clan scattered to the other. Currently, the graveyard is carefully preserved and memorialized by local volunteers. I want you to tell the local children that such a warrior was alive in the Tsuchiya district. It seems that His Majesty the Emperor visited when he was a student as part of a class with professors at Gakushuin University and Azuma Kagami. Participated by Mr. Tsuchiya and Minamoto no Yoritomo, and served in the campaigns of Yashima, Ichinotani, Dannoura, etc.

First of all, if you do not find this information board on the site of Tsuchiya Castle, you will not be able to reach the Tsuchiya Clan Cemetery Gorinto. Since it is a separate item, I wrote most of the things to the graveyard. Kamakura's avant-garde, was rice harvesting around here important? And most of the development lords are Bando Heishi Well, I hope that such knowledge education will lead to real life and increase in sales as much as possible ...

It is said to be the residence of Mr. Tsuchiya, a samurai representing the Middle Ages. Mr. Tsuchiya reigned as a lord until Soen, a child of Sohei Nakamura, took control of the area and was chased from the area during the Muromachi period. There is nothing left in the ruins of the residence that is reminiscent of those days, but the territories assigned to the nearby place names such as the prince (representing the territory assigned to the prince) and the temple (temple ). Represents), which can be remembered in the Middle Ages.
