 A park like a walking path with a view of the ocean in the distance. It's perfect for a walk of children who can walk lightly on a forest road. There is no open space.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 椿の花 を観に外房大原へ。
園内には1,000種1,000本の椿が植えられているようだが、咲いている品種はまばら。多品種ゆえ一斉には咲かないらしいけど来るのが早すぎたようだ。
野生のキョンがおりました。
Go to Sotobo Ohara to see the camellia flowers.
It seems that 1,000 camellias are planted in the garden, but the varieties that bloom are sparse. It doesn't seem to bloom all at once because of the variety, but it seems that it came too soon.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 橋と展望台は老朽化のため利用できませんが椿もきれいだし海も見える。散歩するには丁度よい。
The bridge and observatory are not available due to aging, but the camellias are beautiful and the sea can be seen. It's just right for a walk.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 20181231 自宅に帰る前に立ち寄りました。午前中の早い時間だったので、一番乗りでしたが、晴れていて景色が良かったです。海も見えました。吊り橋が二つあり高台を登ったり降りたりしました。足元があまり良くないので、最初の吊り橋を渡るのは大丈夫ですが、他の道は小さいお子さんやお年寄りには無理かもしれません。運動靴などが好ましいです。途中、野生の鹿に遭遇しました。少し離れた山の中で見かけました。こんな場所にもいるんだなと感動しました。また行きたいです?
20181231 I stopped by before I got home. It was early in the morning, so it was the first ride, but it was sunny and the scenery was good. I could see the sea. There were two suspension bridges and I climbed up and down the hill. It's okay to cross the first suspension bridge because your feet aren't very good, but the other roads may not be possible for small children or the elderly. Athletic shoes are preferable. On the way, I encountered a wild deer. I saw it in a mountain a little away. I was impressed that I was in such a place. I want to go again ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 昭和40年代？からある古い公園。令和3年のいま、ここにある吊り橋は老朽化のため、渡れなくなっています。奥のほうも散策出来ますが、足場が、木の根っことかで非常に悪く、あまりオススメできません。

キョンが、椿の林の中にいて
人間が近寄っても、動じる事なく草の根を食んでいました。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 駐車場に着くや否やキョンが現れ出迎えてくれました。その後2匹のキョンを近くて見れ、そこら中の草むらでガサガサ動き回る音が聞こえてまるで歩くサファリパークです。
以前は山道もしっかり歩けるように作られていたようですが補修はされていないようで運動靴でないと歩くのが厳しい箇所が多数あります。雰囲気があって良いですが。。。
橋や展望台も補修されておらず立ち入り禁止。
ちょっと残念ではありますが静かに自然を充分楽しめる公園です！
