W	Wearing Truth on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ At 191,000km a 2004 RAV4 should NOT cost $4,000 to repair because of the apparently infamous stripped head bolts problem that affects the 2002-2006 2.4L engine!!! Toyota does not accept it's their fault and will not take responsibility for the repairs, or agrees to any resolution! If it's not their fault, whose fault is it then? Whose fault is it that the head bolts are being stripped off of the engine block?! The whole point of buying an economy car so that I don't have to spend money on expensive repairs, not so that I drive a zero-options car for a decade only to end up paying big money fixing an engine below 200k!!! Shame on you “reliable” Toyota! I really thought Toyota was a respected company because of its “reputation”. Hearing good things about Toyota is one thing, but dealing with them is a completely different thing. I am never buying a Toyota again! I’d rather buy a Korean car which costs less and offers more options, if it breaks it breaks. May be I will replace a radiator, not fix an engine block!

M	Mertcan Asdemir on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My 2017 made and only 48.000 km Hilux skidded on the highway without a warning because of transmission failure. Toyota authorized service said that the whole transmission was burnt. I asked them how this could have happened and they asked me if i press gas and brake at the same time! I called Toyota Turkey and told them that i had a life threathening experience with the car. 5 hours later they called me and said the burning of the transmission was because of overriding. I asked them if their engineers saw the transmission or not. And they said they have spoken to the formen at the service only. They still couldn't tell me why it happened. Toyota Turkey does not stand after their product. We will see if Toyota will or not!
