R	Ryo Murakami (murryo) on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 企画展示おもしろい。比較的最近の収蔵品もあり。ただ、設備が全体的にだいぶ古い。照明設備も古いものを使っているのか、角度によっては反射で白飛びしてしてしまう展示もあり。とくに、下からの子どもの目線だと反射光で作品がほとんど見えないようなケースもありました。おそらく、車椅子でも同じだと思います。全館バリアフリーなのですがもったいないと思いました。あと個室トイレは和式です。 The special exhibition is interesting. There are also relatively recent collections. However, the equipment is quite old as a whole. There is also an exhibition where the lighting equipment is old, and depending on the angle, it may be overexposed due to reflection. In particular, there were cases where the work could hardly be seen due to the reflected light from the perspective of the child from below. Probably the same with a wheelchair. The entire building is barrier-free, but I thought it was a waste. Also, the private toilet is Japanese style.

That sounds a bit ridiculous to say for a museum, but it was seriously so mind blowing and great. The craftsmanship and artisanal work that these painters have done on their work is sublime. I loved this museum thoroughly, please come here and quietly enjoy these works of real art. Stay 1 night in Toyohashi city and experience this museum, Yoshida Jo castle, and go visit Toyokawa Inari for a quick visit. Make sure you stay the night in Toyohashi rather than Toyokawa though, as there is more to do in Toyohashi. Sorry Toyokawa, but for visitors it's not really the best place for them (in my opinion)!
