F	F8 on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 所謂お受験のある学校です。知能検査のようなテストと、児童本人及びその保護者に対する面接が実施され、結果を総合的に判断して合格者が選抜されます。そのため、全体的に学力の高い生徒が多く（相対評価の低い生徒でも、近隣の小学校へ連れていけばエース級です）、規律正しい落ち着いた校風です。鳥取大学の附属校であることから、カリキュラムに実験的な内容が導入されることがあり、また同大学の教育実習生の学びの場として重要な役割を担っています。卒業後は余程のことがない限り、エスカレーター式に隣の附属中学校へ進学することになります。お子様が附属小学校への進学を希望していらっしゃる保護者の方は、制服代など一定額の初期投資を覚悟すること、学区のある小学校に比べて帰宅後の生徒間の交流が（特に遠方からの列車通学の生徒は）少なくなりがちなこと、お受験校だからといって良い先生に恵まれるとは限らないことに留意して下さい。しかし、それらを考慮しても、総合的に質の高い教育を行っている、良い学校だと思います。 This is a school where you can take an exam.
