絶対的な学力ではなく生涯付き合える友人と出会えたのが宝です。
他の口コミをみる限り、アンチ一高ユーザーが多いみたいですね。二高との関係も昔と変わらないようで和みますね(^_^)

取手駅の東口を左にでて、坂を上がって行くとありました。
駅の近くには、多数の飲食店があるので助かります。

私が在籍していた頃2009-2011は若手教師が多く、熱心に指導される方が多く所属されていました。
厳密には、あまり生徒のことを考えない中年教師と、生徒に近い目線を持ちながら進路関係に強くサポートを置いてくれる先生方がいらっしゃいました。
総合科と変わった科をしており、1年後期から任意の科を選択し、他シラバスから複数の授業を選択して時間割を作成します。
私の場合数学が苦手でしたので、数学を最低限に抑えて英語を多めに取り評定平均を底上げしました。
進路については1年前期から向き合う授業があり、高校から先についてをつい先日まで中学生だった生徒たちに考えさせてくださいます。
また、2年前期までに希望大学を決めておくことで、2年後期や3年前期にある大学体験授業に希望大学の教授を呼んで貰えました。これが非常に為になりました。教授にもよりますが、OCもよりも濃い体験ができます。希望校が決まった頃から先輩方の受験レポートを学校ごとに確認できます。どのような対策や勉強が必要か、やってよかったことなどが書かれているレポートを見せてもらえます。
1年前期では科の選択前なので科を超えて友人ができ、友人に便乗して様々な資格試験を受けることができます。
クラスを超えた交流を築き易く、総合科の特色なのかユニークな人が多い校風でした。
ギャルもいればガリ勉もオタクもいる学校でしたが、不思議と仲が悪いわけでもなく、科が複数あり特異な部活が多かったことからか
みんな興味や趣味が違うことが当たり前の感覚として根付いています。
多様性を認めるという世の流れに則った土壌が出来上がっていました。
推薦だったので3年後期前半から入試対策が本格化したのですが、直前の面接入試対策は正直意味がありませんでした。
担当はライフル射撃部担当の中年英語教師でしたが、面接試験まで日が無い中、面接試験の要項と全く違う質問ばかりを繰り返す為、こいつに付き合っては落ちる! と思い親に付き合ってもらいました。
大学や学部学科によって面接内容は異なります。自分ルールで誰にでも使える適当な質問を作業として回すのではなく、その大学学部学科や生徒に合わせた対策をしなければ意味がありません。
そこまで面倒が見れないなら中途半端なことはせず担当生徒全員に対策方法を伝え、相談に来させる位が良いのです。
対策はやった気にさせるだけでは毒にしかなりません。あの教師を見捨ててよかったです。
私はその結果第一志望の国公立大へ受かったので。
