★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 近畿日本鉄道が運営するケーブルカー路線の駅です。
正式名称は「近鉄生駒鋼索線」と言うそうですが誰もこの言い方はしていません。
戦前の1917年に生駒ケーブル(宝山寺線)の開通と同時に開業した歴史のある駅です。
起点となる当駅から"宝山寺駅"までが宝山寺線と呼ばれています。
生駒山上遊園地まで行くには前述の"宝山寺駅"で山上線に乗り換えて"生駒山上駅"まで乗車してください。
奈良方面から生駒山上遊園地に行く場合、ぐにゃぐにゃした信貴生駒スカイラインは苦手という場合は当ケーブルカーがいいかもしれません。
人数が多いと費用もかさんでしまうのでお財布と相談してください。
近鉄奈良線の"生駒駅"との接続駅となります。
駅自体は直接接続されていないため一度外に出て県道237号線を横断する必要がありますが駅間はプロムナードが設置しているので子供連れでも安心して移動が可能です。
普段は余り味わえない鉄道なのに凄い坂を登るという非日常的風景を体験してください。
It is a station on the cable car line operated by the Kintetsu Railway.
The official name is said to be "Kintetsu Ikoma Cable Car", but no one says this.
It is a historic station that opened at the same time as the opening of the Ikoma Cable (Houzanji Line) in 1917 before the war.
The area from this station, which is the starting point, to "Houzanji Station" is called the Hozanji Line.
To reach Ikoma Sanjo Amusement Park, change to the Yamagami Line at the aforementioned "Houzanji Station" and board at "Ikoma Sanjo Station".
If you are going to Ikoma Yamagami Amusement Park from Nara and you are not good at the squishy Nobutaka Ikoma Skyline, this cable car may be a good choice.
If there are many people, the cost will be high, so please consult with your wallet.
It will be a connecting station to "Ikoma Station" on the Kintetsu Nara Line.
Since the station itself is not directly connected, you need to go outside and cross Prefectural Road 237, but since there is a promenade between the stations, you can move with confidence even with children.
Experience the extraordinary scenery of climbing a great slope even though it is a railway that you can not usually taste.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 日本最古のケーブルカー。子どもは大好き。20分に一回しかないが混雑するので席に座って待つのがオススメ。上りと下りがすれ違うときが圧巻。ケーブルカーの踏み切りは珍しい。トイレは和式しかなく臭い。
Japan's oldest cable car. I love children. It's only once every 20 minutes, but it's crowded so it's recommended to sit down and wait. The highlight is when the uphill and downhill pass each other. The crossing of a cable car is rare. The toilet is only Japanese style and it smells.

ファンシーな可愛い駅でした(*´∀｀*)
スピードはゆっくりで6分ほどで着きます。
今度はブル号とミケ号に乗ってみたいな！

生駒駅からすぐです。
行った時は片方のケーブルカーは止まってました。
短い時間ですが観光気分を味わえます。

When I went, one of the cable cars was stopped.
