隣接する施設として運動競技場やテニスコートなどもあり『運動公園』という大きな場所の中の野球場です。
遊具のある公園やウォーキングにも良い道があるので老若男女が利用しています。
駐車場も多数あり、冬期以外は無料開放されています。

バックネット裏は結構広いので観戦人数もそれなりに入れます。
以前、王貞治さんや山田久志さんなど名球会の方々が、ドリームゲームという記念事業で試合をされた歴史もあります。
ただ、よく使用される割にはスコアボードが手動式でかなり古くなっているので、予算の都合はあると思いますが、改修してほしいなと願っています。
球場側の駐車場が少しわかりにくいため、調べて行ったほうが良いです！
