★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 遠野市内の本局です。職員は応対が皆親切です。挨拶も小気味いいです。待合室の腰掛けは畳です。ATMも2台あります。郵便物であれば時間外受付で夜7時まで取り扱っています。ATMも7時までです。駐車場は建物の裏にあります。一番奥に4台分、やや手前に2台分、さらに壁際に3台分ですか。大型の郵便車が回転するためのスペースが表示されていますので、その部分への駐車は避けましょう。。出庫するときはベルみたいなものが鳴って注意を喚起してくれます。遠野市役所の斜め向かい側にあり、仕出し屋の「やなぎ屋」の真向かいです。
