図書館入り口に近隣の駐車場が掲示されてるので、そちらに停められる。
建物は狭く、本の数は少なめで、分館かと思ったほど。

A nearby parking lot is posted at the entrance of the library, so it can be parked there.
The building is small and the number of books is small.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 遠野市立博物館と同じ建物内にあります。その１階と２階部分が図書館です。コンパクトですが一通り本は揃っています。１階は書籍棚と受付カウンターが、２階に閲覧室と学習室等があります。見かけよりは蔵書は多いですね。
遠野駅から道を真っ直ぐ進むと鍋倉公園下にぶつかりますが、その麓にあります。小豆色の建物です。坂道を登って行くと鍋倉公園、南部神社、鍋倉展望台等があります。隣にはホテルあえりあ遠野や市民センターがあります。
駐車場が問題にされてますが、市民センターの駐車場あたりが便利かなと思います。
It is in the same building as the Tono City Museum. The first and second floors are the library. Although it is compact, all the books are available. There is a book shelf and reception counter on the 1st floor, and a reading room and study room on the 2nd floor. There are more books than it looks.
If you go straight on the road from Tono Station, you will hit Nabekura Park, which is at the foot of the park. It is a russet-colored building. If you go up the slope, you will find Nabekura Park, Nanbu Shrine, Nabekura Observatory, etc. Next door is Hotel Aeria Tono and the Civic Center.
The parking lot is a problem, but I think the parking lot around the civic center is convenient.
