★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 友田の住宅街を抜けた高台に位置していて多摩川の遠景が望めます。地元民以外は辿り着くのが難しい細道の先に有ります。児童遊園も併設されてますが誰も遊んでおらず静かな雰囲気です。(訪れたのが真夏だったのでセミと雑虫のオンパレードでした……?、虫除け対策が必須の神社です❗️) あまり整備はされてない社殿ですが遊園も有るので日常の掃除はちゃんと行き届いているみたいです。今は「八雲神社」ですが江戸時代は牛頭天王社と呼ばれ同じ友田に有る花蔵院が神宮寺だったようです。その神仏習合の名残は今は一切残って居ません……?

(Since it was midsummer that I visited, it was a parade of cicada and worms ... ?, a shrine where insect repellent measures are indispensable ❗️) Although it is a shrine that is not well maintained, there is also an amusement park, so daily cleaning is perfect It seems to be. It is now called “Yakumo Shrine”, but during the Edo period, it was called Ushizu Tennosha, and the Hanazono in the same Tomoda was Jinguji. There are no remnants of the Buddhist Buddhist customs now… ?
