戦国【城郭探訪】 on Google
★ ★ ★ ★ ★ JR備前片上駅から南下すること約10分。野球グラウンドが見え、脇に看板があります。看板の先を進むと登城路となります。城郭麓には親切に竹の杖まで用意されていました。
城内は比較的、整備されていますが標高200mの城とは思えないほど時間が掛かりました。途中にベンチや案内板などがあり、道に迷うことはなさそうです。
最初に東出丸と言う郭に到着します。遺構っぽいものは見受けられず、丁寧に削平された郭のみが残っていました。
東出丸から本丸までは一本道。本丸付近に来ると案内板があり、右が堀切、左が本丸となっていました。堀切は城内有数の大規模な遺構で東西にのびる尾根を分断しています。岩盤を削ってつくられた堀切は必見です。
続いて本丸です。本丸までは三ノ丸を通る搦手と二ノ丸、大手曲輪を通る大手があります。個人的には大手の方がオススメですが時間がなくて寄れませんでした。三ノ丸を経由して本丸に向かうと立派な土塁が顔を出します。本当に綺麗に残っていて、ここまで綺麗に残っている土塁は見たことがありません。削平も完璧で申し分ないです。
結構きつい山城でしたが、登りきった時の達成感と残存する遺構に大満足。東出丸や本丸は景色も良く弁当持参で登るのも良いと思います。満足いく城郭探訪だったので星5をつけちゃいました。
About 10 minutes south from JR Bizen-Katakami Station. You can see the baseball ground and there is a signboard beside it. If you go beyond the signboard, you will reach the castle road. Bamboo wands were kindly prepared at the foot of the castle.
The inside of the castle is relatively well maintained, but it took so long that I couldn't think of it as a castle at an altitude of 200m. There are benches and information boards along the way, so you won't get lost.
First, you will arrive at Higashide Maru. Nothing like a remains was found, and only the carefully flattened Guo remained.
There is a straight road from Higashide Maru to Honmaru. When I came near the main enclosure, there was a guide board, with Horikiri on the right and the main enclosure on the left. Horikiri is one of the largest remains in the castle and divides the ridge extending from east to west. Horikiri made by carving the bedrock is a must-see.
Next is Honmaru. Up to the main enclosure, there are Karamete-mon and Ninomaru, which pass through Sannomaru, and major companies, which pass through major Kuruwa. Personally, I recommend the big ones, but I couldn't stop because I didn't have enough time. If you head toward Honmaru via Sannomaru, you will see a magnificent earthwork. It's really beautiful, and I've never seen an earthwork that remains so beautiful. The flattening is also perfect and perfect.
It was a pretty tough mountain castle, but I was very satisfied with the sense of accomplishment and the remaining remains when I climbed up. Higashide Maru and Honmaru have a nice view and I think it is good to climb with a lunch box. It was a satisfying visit to the castle, so I gave it 5 stars.
