Department stores all over Japan seem to have ended its responsibilities or roles as a shopping media, feeling so sad when on visiting here.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Typical shopping mall model old, but still fresh. The shops are your run of the mill fashion basics.
However, what makes this place a 4 star location is :
There's a fantastic retro fair-style playground on the roof for the kids + a really good bike parking on the first floor. You need to buy stuff for a small sum (two coffees and something sweet does it), save the receipts, and the parking is free.
This combined with a few places to buy coffee and ice cream makes this a good base for a day in Kichijoji.
