★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great place for family with train lovers children. Lots of simulation games, visitor can play subway train driver with helpful assistances from the staff. Visitor also can see the history of Tokyo Subway, and but souvenirs too. It's quite cheap, 220 yen for adult and 100 yen for children.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Most of the exhibits have English descriptions, great place for kids around 3+ as there are interactive exhibits such as driving simulated train with real dashboard.
You can probably spend 1-2 hours there depending on how interested you are in engineering.
Not recommended for adults if you have no interest in design and engineering.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I like trains, so I really liked this museum. Lots of explanation in English. There was a couple of carriages to get on and see the olden day trains. There were a lot of kids, and I think it is a lot of fun for younger train enthusiasts.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fun, interactive, staff are friendly and speaks enough English to provide guidance re: using the train conductor simulator. The exhibits include English descriptions and audio guide via QR code available. Model trains are operational in the museum. Brief history, motors, development, and braking systems are covered. Washrooms are clean, breastfeeding room available, very child friendly. Access to the museum is via Kasai station platform 2 on Tozai line. Option to purchase a small passport (210 yen) for stamping available train information inside the museum. Vending machines with cafeteria available inside the museum.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great museum located right off of the Kasai train station of the Tozai line. The museum offered a historical perspective of Japanese trains and has several activities and exhibits for people of all ages. Simulators, interactive videos and model trains, as well as the aforementioned history lesson of trains are all on display. This place is clean and is kid friendly for families. Due to Covid-19, there are parts of it which are closed but that is understandable. The entrance price is very reasonable, if not cheap. I recommend this museum to anyone looking to learn more about trains or just looking to entertain your family for the day.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I can only recommend this museum if you're interested in trains, or if you have kids. The entry is cheap, there's a lot to see and do and it is English friendly. I stayed about an hour and a half and feel like I could have stayed a bit more.
You can enter old models of the trains on the Ginza and Marunouchi lines. There's also a driver's room in which you can enter. The museum shows everything from the history of the different subways, to the different jobs involved in making the subway efficient.
There are driving simulations near the end of the museum, where you can try to drive a train from one station to another.
