粋	粋 on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 子供の入学式に列席する為に来校。かつての青山師範学校が昭和11年に移転した際に建てられた本館と講堂は、学芸大学が昭和36年に小金井に移転するまで大学として使われていた昭和初期建築を今に伝える重厚感と歴史の重みを感じる建物で、文化財的価値のある校舎で３年間を過ごすのは素敵な事だと沁沁思いました。都内の国立の４高校は全国屈指の難関で進学実績も程度の差はあれ大部分が国公立大か私立でも医学部に進学していますが、反面受験指導に重きを置かず、成績は生徒自ら学習して維持向上させるもので、学校は受験に直結しない本質的な学びや行事や課外活動を中心とした豊かな人間性を育むプログラムを主としております。大学進学実績と大学進学実績を達成する為のカリキュラムを売りにする難関私立進学校と、国立大学附属中学や高校の受験偏差値の高さは同じでも、教育方針は真逆に近いくらい違います。入試が難関なのはその環境下でも自ら学び希望する結果を出す能力のある子供に、大学進学がゴールではない人間教育を提供する為なのでしょう。なので進学実績を念頭に進学指導に期待して国立の中高を受験すると学校の対応に不満を感じる可能性が大です、難関を越えた子供達が切磋琢磨しつつ充実した青春を送る事を期待して志望すべき学校だと、この高校の校舎を見て改めて実感しました。大学から引き継いだ講堂より大きな３万冊以上の蔵書を誇る図書館に大小２つの体育館のある広い敷地、林間学校に使用している妙高高原にある研修施設等、大学施設をそのまま使っているので他の国立高校以上に充実した環境です、東大進学実績が多少下がったところで、国立高校の教育方針で前述通り７割以上の卒業生が国公立大か医学部に進学するんですから寧ろ伸び伸び過ごしてるのね、と私は思いました。素晴らしい学び舎で充実した青春を送って頂きたいです。
