If there was a 0 I could've given 0/5. We brought our 9 months old and the doctor (with medium lvl of English) gave a prognosis and prescribed some medicine in 5 minutes. My wife was carrying the baby using a Tula baby carrier, and my son was wearing a hoodie and a t-shirt, and the doctor checked his heart and lungs just by putting the stethoscope on the carrier. Unsure how was he able to hear something... He didn't weight or measure my son. Went to the hotel googled the prescription, and it's only for babies 2 yrs and above, and the images and symptoms described on the internet don't match. Waste of time and money +15000 yen (including 3000 yen to write a medical certificate for the insurance).

I can’t understand why this clinic has such a low rating. I had to go there to have some stitches removed and was in and out in less than 45 minutes, despite the place being busy. The front desk staff and doctor were all very friendly and spoke English very well, and the doctor was very helpful and expansive with his advice. This clinic was recommended to me by my hotel, and I highly recommend it in turn.

My girlfriend suffered from the flu and showed symptoms of a sore throat with inflammation along with a slight temperature of 38 degrees. We decided it was best to get some amoxicillin and some pain killers. We then went to Tokyo Business Clinic to hopefully get the prescriptions and was misdiagnosed by the doctor saying that we needed incision drainage in her throat because it might close her airways which greatly alarmed us and came across strange because it was just the flu and pharyngitis. We were then charged a hefty 15,000 yen for a misdiagnosis, no prescriptions and was sent to hospital. This misdiagnosis would then lead to the most inconvenient, costly, stressful and traumatising experience for my girlfriend. Then, taking the referral we went to St. Luke’s Emergency Department to see another doctor to get the prescriptions. After a 1.5 hr wait which was expected due to it being a Sunday, we finally got to see the doctor. Unfortunately they once again suggested that we do CT scans and further blood work for just the flu? I repeatedly told them NOT to do blood tests or scans due to my girlfriend not having health insurance at the time multiple times (both to reception desk and the doctor/nurse treating her). We were charged 30,000+ for some blood tests that simply said that inflammation markers (WBC and CRP) were high, along with very general health assessment markets such as eGFR, RBC etc. Finally, after negotiating for her just to simply be put on antibiotics and some painkillers, my girlfriends symptoms improved greatly which was what we needed all along. He then gave us the prescriptions and we were charged a total of 75,000+ yen for that. Literally just for something as simple as the flu. This, paired with the doctor at the Tokyo Business Clinic was a very very disappointing experience with Tokyo’s healthcare system and seems to be simply charging foreigners more unnecessary money. Tokyo business clinic could of simply prescribed Amoxicillin, some painkillers and fever medication which would have saved over 4 hours of extra hospital time and the ridiculous 15,000 yen consultation fee for frankly nothing at the clinic itself. Whether it was intentional or just the lack of experience and wisdom on the doctors part is unclear.

Unfortunately I read the reviews ahead of time, so when the doctor struggled it made the mistakes clearer. I went in for cold symptoms and ear discomfort. I went over the symptoms with the doctor and he checked for fever (none) and listened to my chest with a stethoscope before pronouncing it an upper respiratory tract infection. I had to convince him to check my ear (the main source of discomfort). He struggled with the otoscope used for looking inside the ear and eventually gave up and just held the tip against the tool with his fingers. He then said there were no signs of inflammation and he would prescribe antibiotics. Imagine my surprise at the pharmacist when I find the prescription is for Tylenol and anti allergy meds instead. Probably the right call if it is actually a viral upper respiratory infection, but worrying that he didn't prescribe what he said he would. I have no confidence in his diagnosis which makes the whole trip meaningless as the meds given are only meant to alleviate the symptoms and not fix the problem. I will not be going back.

I saw the negative reviews for this business but it's being the only doctors open late on Saturday it was really my only option. I had so many problems here that it took multiple days to fix. I first came in for severe stomach pain and ask for a doctor's recommendation for a specailist because they told me they couldn't treat me. I was denied and he said try this medication first and then come back and I will give you a recommendation. So I had to go back a second time even knowing the medication would not work as I had tried it before. The second time I came I had a very nice woman doctor and had no problems with her. But the staff caused me so many troubles. they took my insurance card and approved it. I even double checked with them to make sure it was ok. had a normal visit paid and left. at the nearby pharmacy they pointed out that my insurence card was two days expired. They called the staff from the doctors who very rudely and forcefully insisted I come back to their office where they tried to charge me several hundred dollars more. I explained to them that I did not have a credit card so I would not be able to pay at this moment and offered several options for them to solve the issue which had worked for a friend in the past. It took an extra hour and I was late for work because they would not let me leave. I came back with my insurance card a different day and again had to wait 30 minutes while the secretaries updated the system. After the 30 minutes they said thank you and here is your refund. I asked are you sure I get a refund? and they insisted it was okay and told me to have a nice day. about 30 minutes later while on the train, I get a call telling me that I have to come back and give them back the refund money. The medication I received here both times was ineffective. The first male doctor was rude and inappropriate, And I had much of my time and money wasted by the staff. The only plus side is they speak some English. I will not be returning here.

This clinic was a rescue for us. We had two people sick while visiting Tokyo. Convenient location, easy to get by train. Not expensive, as some other we called, and convenient hours. We came over around 8pm and they still were open! The doctors speak some English, but also they have images with the symptoms, I thought it is a great idea! They also were very friendly and helpful and the wait time was minimal. There is a pharmacy right next door.

This clinic saved me big time, I didn’t know what I had all I knew I had a really sore throat and it hurt to talk. Walked in got greeted by a nice lady in English and she told me to fill out 1 sheet of paper. Got called in after 15 minutes, explained my symptoms to the doctor and she said I’ll start feeling well by the end of the day. Later that day I felt great, the perception she gave me worked and all took 30 minutes. This is my go to clinic from now on, convenient as well.

I don't recommend this clinic at all, it was horrible service. I went there because they had english staff and because it was open until late, so I was able to go after work. I had a stomach pain, I went for that. They insisted that I had "covid symptoms" and take me a covid test (?). They made me wait outside the whole time. Even after the test result was negative, they tried to sell me a PCR. The "examination" was with a doctor via zoom, so the doctor gave me a few random medicines and recommended me to "be aware of my symptoms" for the next days. Again they made me wait outside, and pay outside. Everything was very disrespectful and at the end instead of help me they just tried to sell me covid tests. I'm afraid I might have to go to the hospital anyway, because my consultation was useless.
