★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 銚子に出掛けてきたら、是非、外川〃とかわ〃まで足を伸ばしてみて。犬吠電鉄の終点駅です。その小さな駅から歩いて５分もしない所に茂八があります。外川は漁港ですが小さな町の胃袋を茂八は背負ってるな。一家総出で刺身、佃煮、煮物、あんこ果物、野菜などなど、作ったりさばいたり。また、安いんだ。NHKの番組の日野正平さんが煮物担当のおばあちゃんと秋刀魚つまみながらおしゃべりしてたよ。ビックリしたぁ。
If you go to Choshi, by all means try to reach your feet to Tokawa and Kawakawa. This is the terminal station of Inubo Electric Railway. Mohachi is less than 5 minutes walk from the small station. Tokawa is a fishing port, but Mohachi doesn't carry the stomach of a small town. The whole family makes and judges sashimi, boiled tsukudani, boiled food, anko fruits and vegetables. It's cheap again. NHK's program, Shohei Hino, was chatting with a grandmother in charge of stewed food while picking up a sword fish. I was surprised.

特に生マグロ、ヒラメ等、スーパーで購入するよりも断然新鮮です。
お惣菜も作りたて、ボリュームたっぷりです！
From sashimi to side dishes are really delicious ✨
Especially raw tuna and flatfish are much fresher than those purchased at supermarkets.
The side dish is also freshly made and has plenty of volume!

味は関西の出汁に慣れてた身としては少し濃いめでしたが好きでした。
仲良くしていただいたのを今でも覚えてます。また千葉県に行く際は寄らせていただきますね?
I am indebted to you when I was part-time at a neighboring inn.
Taste was a bit dense as I was used to the soup of Kansai, but I liked it.
I still remember having friends. When I go to Chiba prefecture, I will return it.

お惣菜の味付けは濃いめです。
茎ワカメの甘口煮付けとマグロの角煮が美味しいです。
You can buy side dishes and sashimi at a reasonable price. It is a local side dish shop.
The seasoning of the side dish is strong.
The sweet boiled wakame seaweed and the kakuni tuna are delicious.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 銚電の時間待ちの間、夕暮れの外川の街を一人ぶらりと黄昏れ散歩、帰りに見つけたのがこのお店。
地元の人向けの商店なので、最低限の品物しか並んでいませんが、美味しそうな惣菜や魚があり、しっかり買い込んで宿で一杯やりました。
懐かしい味のする惣菜と新鮮な刺身は、旅のいい思い出になりました。
While waiting for Choshi's time, I took a walk in the twilight of the town of Tokawa at dusk, and found this shop on my way home.
It's a shop for locals, so only the minimum items are lined up, but there are delicious side dishes and fish, so I bought them well and had a drink at the inn.
The nostalgic side dishes and fresh sashimi made a good memory of the trip.
