★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 江戸時代から大正時代まで実際に使用されていた商家で、蔵や新座敷、母屋と見所は多く、無料で見学できるのでとてもお得です。駐車場は裏にあり、そこへの道も狭く、なかなか見つけられないのが難点かも。
It is a merchant house that was actually used from the Edo period to the Taisho era. The parking lot is behind, and the road to it is narrow, so it may be difficult to find it.

茅葺き屋根に広い邸宅
こういう古民家はあちこちありますが、長井の街並みに、しっかり溶け込んでいるのは見事です。
伺った時、梅雨の雨模様でしたが、茅葺き屋根が雨をしっかりと流してました。

掘割から家の中に引き込まれた
流し場は実に綺麗な水で寒さも凌げて
洗い物が出来るのは昔の人の知恵だな～
と感心。
模様の凝った摺りガラスや欄間、蔵、母屋など
古民家、古豪商が好きな人にはたまらない空間
だと思います。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 古さ(痛み)を感じさせない、非常に綺麗な建物でした。
見所と思ったのが『入れかわど』という天然の水を使った流しです。建物の中の台所にあり、冬に外に出たくない雪国らしい作りに感じました。
また一部の倉には座敷があり喜多方を思い出します。
It was a very beautiful building that didn't feel old (pain).
What I thought was the highlight was the sink called "Ikagawado" that uses natural water. It's in the kitchen inside the building, and I felt like it was a snowy country that I didn't want to go out in winter.
In addition, there is a tatami room in some of the warehouses, which reminds me of Kitakata.
