★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Famous temple along Jizo Dori street in Sugamo. Not a very big temple but nonetheless loved by many people suffering from difficult illnesses or injuries. Washing the main statue on the corresponding area to your pain is said to have a healing effect.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sugamo is an interesting place that you can not really see in downtown Tokyo. I like the mood that you can experience around the streets and this temple. It is more silent on weekend but can be crowded on weekends, especially when there is a festival or other local events. Highly recommended!
