雷門からその賑わいを引きずるように歩くと、指呼の間に吾妻橋へと辿り着く。川の向うには特徴的なアサヒビールのビルとその奥には東京スカイツリーが見えている。
吾妻橋は隅田川に多数架かる橋の中でも最も賑やかな印象がある。浅草寺があり、墨田公園があり、水上バスが走る。こうした賑やかなイメージを助長するかのように、欄干には鮮やかな朱色が使われている。
そんな吾妻橋の起源は江戸時代、１７７４年に大川橋の名前でデビュー。明治時代の初めに架け替えられた際に、現在の吾妻橋にされたと言う。
現在の橋は凡そ９０年前のもの。屈強な造りで多くの往来を支えている。
? Azumabashi: A bridge connecting Asakusa and a tree ?
If you walk from Kaminarimon to drag the bustle, you will reach Azumabashi during the call. The characteristic Asahi Breweries building and the Tokyo Sky Tree can be seen across the river.
Azumabashi has the most lively impression of the many bridges over the Sumida River. There is Sensoji Temple, Sumida Park, and a water bus runs. Bright vermilion is used for the balustrade as if to promote such a lively image.
The origin of such Azumabashi debuted in 1774 under the name of Okawabashi in the Edo period. It is said that it was made into the current Azumabashi when it was rebuilt at the beginning of the Meiji era.
The current bridge is about 90 years old. It has a strong structure and supports a lot of traffic.

The location of the Toei Asakusa Line, Tokyo Metro, and the bus stop is not rational, so I think it's a little troublesome for people who aren't used to it.
