★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 荒川と市野川の合流地点の右岸にある水防の神様。天候の神とされる一目連大明神と共に祀られている。前沼（南側）と中沼（北側）で成る瓢箪型の鳥羽井沼の東側のくびれに位置する。
前沼と中沼はいわゆる落掘（おっぽり、破堤の氾濫水によって掘られた場所）であり、それぞれ1780年、1802年の洪水によて形成されたとの伝承が（この他にも最低２回はこの辺りで破堤している）。
現在もこのすぐ東側の堤防の斜面に水防倉庫があり、水防の要衝であることがわかる。
The god of flood control on the right bank of the confluence of the Arakawa and Ichino rivers. It is enshrined with Ren Ichimoku, the god of the weather. It is located in the eastern constriction of the gourd-shaped Tobainuma, which consists of Maenuma (south side) and Nakanuma (north side).
Maenuma and Nakanuma are so-called diggings (places dug by flooding of breach), and it is said that they were formed by the floods of 1780 and 1802, respectively (the other is the lowest). The bank broke around here twice).
Even now, there is a flood control warehouse on the slope of the embankment on the east side of this, and it can be seen that it is a key point of flood control.
