★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 家族が思い出したように食べたいと言うこちらのスコーン。久しぶりに近所に行く用事があったので、スコーン以外にもカップケーキやマフィン、カフェラテまで購入しました。懐かしくそして相変わらずかわいい店内、ショッパーの絵柄もかわらず。自宅で昔話とともに美味しく頂きました。

住宅街の中の一軒家を改装した感じのお店で店内は二人も入ると結構せまいです。
ショーケースにはカップケーキ、スコーン、ほかの焼き菓子があり、ほかにコーヒーやマーマレードなども売っていました。
今回はお試しでスコーンを数種類買って家で食べましたかなりおいしいです。
英国風らしく、口の中の水分を持っていかれる感じはありますが風味もよく今まで食べたスコーンの中でもかなり好みでした。
他のものも試してみたいですね。難点といえばちょっと行きにくい場所にあるということでしょうかｗ

※粉ものが主体のケーキのお店ですね。
ガラスケースの中、お皿に陳列されたケーキはかわいさいっぱい。
カップケーキや、カラフルなシュガーがトッピングされたクッキーなどはプレゼントにも向くかと思います。
チョコケーキなどは、見た目よりずっしり、ボリュームありのほうかと。
ここのケーキが好きな知り合いへのお土産にしています。

クリスマスメメニューの焼き菓子が始まってました。

保存料を使用していない、のが売りなのか、コーヒーがメインなのか、焼き菓子は好みが分かれるところ。
カップケーキ450円前後。
クリームがお洒落で可愛い。
ケーキは駄菓子のように軽い。
アーモンドケーキ350円。
バターリッチでなかなか美味しい。
ソフトクッキー レイチェル240円はカルダモンの香りで子供に不評。
この辺りでソフトクッキーはあまり見かけないので面白い。
ジンジャースナップ180円。
大きなカントリーマアムの後味が生姜という感じ。
マフィン290円くらい。
ラズベリーもブルーベリーも軽い。
スポンジケーキという感じ。
小豆鹿の子はしっとりずっしりで、好みだった。
スコーンは4種類。
プレーン260円とアレンジ290円。
説明書き通りにレンジとトースターを使うならば、少し冷めるまで待つとザクサクになる。
温かいと中がフワフワになるので注意。
表面のザクザク感はいい感じ。
チョコは子供人気。
アプリコットは不評。
グリーンティーは妻と長女に好評。
プレーンスコーンは食感がいい！とか、これぞスコーン！みたいな感想が言えるが、他のは全体的に今ひとつだった。
