I am taught Gagaku at the Nishinari large church. I am not a related person but I am allowed to participate in general. Members are the best people. Mr. Nakao at the top is a kind, kind-hearted person (laughs) Please participate in the practice of Gagaku.

奈良と難波を結ぶ奈良時代からの古道、十三街道の頂点である。
そこにひとつの記念碑が立っている。
『嘉永六年、1853年 親神様のおさしずにより
教祖の末娘こかん様が この峠を越えて
浪速の町へ 布教に赴かれた。』とある。
天理教で思い出すのはやはり教祖中山みき。
その末娘が険しい山越えを行い、浪速の町にやってきた。
天理教でいう「おぢばがえり」の逆を行ったのである。
この峠は在原業平や伴林光平も通過している名高き峠。
西成大教会の前を通るたび中山小寒や、天理教の長い苦難の歴史がよみがえる。
いま平安を得た天理教西成大教会の境内はおおらかで静謐、気品が感じられる。
