前にコメントを書いた時には「上宮天満宮」とのみになっていたはずです。誤った神社名はやめるべきです。
JR高槻駅の真北に位置する天神山（昼神山）の「上宮天満宮」の分社です。（分社というよりも、「御旅所」というべきでしょう。
天神山の方の由来文に「古代にあっては、天満宮の前から現在の下田部町に至る広大な地域は島上郡濃味（のみ）の里・・・の一部にあたり、上田部（上田辺町）・中田部（現在の出丸町近辺）・下田部とつながる皇室御料田（こうしつごりょうでん）を耕作する田部（たなべ）氏が治めていました。弊社（上宮天満宮）と氏神・氏子の関わりがあったところです。5月5日の夏祭りは神輿渡御（しんよとぎょ=みこしとぎょ）の氏子祭礼が行われ、上田辺町の御旅所を経て下田部天満宮まで行列が続いた時代もありた。・・・」とあります。
この神社の前の南北の通りは、昔から、天神山から続いていて、その突き当たりに「高札場」があるのですね。
Read "Uenomiya Tenmangu". There is nothing that says "Tenman Shrine".
When I wrote the comment before, it should have been only "Jogutenmangu". Wrong shrine names should be stopped.
It is a branch of "Jogutenmangu" of Mt. Tenjin (Mt. Norigami) located just north of JR Takatsuki Station. (It should be called "Otabisho" rather than a branch office.
The origin of Mt. Tenjin says, "In ancient times, the vast area from the front of Tenmangu to the present Shimotanabe-cho is part of the village of Nomi (only) in Shimakami-gun, and Uedabe (above). Mr. Tanabe, who cultivates the imperial royal rice field (Koshitsugoryoden) that connects to Tanabe-cho, Nakatabe (currently Demaru-cho), and Shimotanabe, was governed by our company (Kamimiya Tenmangu). This is where the gods and children were involved. At the summer festival on May 5, the Shinyotogyo (Mikoshitogyo) priesthood festival was held, and a procession was held to Shimotanabe Tenmangu via the Kamitanabecho Imperial House. There was a time when it continued ... ".
The north-south street in front of this shrine has been running from Mt. Tenjin for a long time, and there is a "high bill place" at the end.
