★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 天満神社が鎮座する根成柿の辺りは、天満地区と呼ばれ、「扶桑略記」・昌泰元年（898）10月15日、宇多上皇が宮滝行幸の途次、この付近にあった菅原道真の山荘に宿泊された所と伝えられています。
菅原道真の先祖に当たる野見宿禰が賜わった「当麻」の領地は、この辺りにも及んでいたかもしれないですね。

古文書によると、この地は三十六歌仙の一人である柿本人麻呂、その彼の妻の生誕した正確な場所なのです。
柿本人麻呂は何人も妻・隠り妻がいたといわれていますが、その愛情は深く、それぞれの別れに対して深く『泣血哀慟』されたと記録が確かです。
今では禁じられていることでも、当時は当たり前で、しかも歌に込めて殯（もがり）を続けることは何にもまして大変だけれども幸せだったのかもしれませんね。
喧噪ばかりの現代に生きていると、そういう太古の先人たちの行動に憧れます。
