? The upper world is Shinto, the four gods of Kaedo are also there, the lower world is esoteric Buddhism, there is Fudo-sama, and you can bring back Tarumi holy water at Kotaki. In addition, you can easily apply for a memorial service, such as a Shinto-style fired-up stupa, so it is very useful (o ^-') b!

The old shrine was a village shrine, now a stand-alone shrine that does not belong to the Association of Shinto Shrines, an old shrine that has protected and passed down the water of the dripping water that was written in the vast guardian forest and Manyoshu for over 1300 years, and the main shrine is Prince Toyokiirihiko. The main shrine was built before the Emperor Kotoku era (645-654), and the style of the main shrine is traditional.

You can think of it as a shrine whose god is Shimizu, which drips from the cliff of "Tarumioka" at the end of the Senri hills. "Tarumi no Taki" in the west of the main shrine has been known since ancient times. ● With the development of the Senri hills, the forest of the water source has been lost and the amount of water has been reduced considerably, but in the past, a considerable amount of water should have flowed down from here and there on the cliff. ○ In 645, in the place of "Emperor Kotoku (Prince Kinashi no Karu)" who took the throne in place of the empress "Empress Kogyoku" in "Taika Reform (Isshi Incident)". When the water of the Yodo River also withered in the sunshine, "Takatoi" sent water to Naniwakyo (Miya), and from the gong that saved from the disaster, the surname (Kabane) of "Tarumi no Kimi" It is in the Nihon Shoki that it was given (Tarumi). If you go straight to the south in front of the shrine, you will pass Nagara Bridge and Tenjinbashi-suji, and you will see "Naniwa" near Koraibashi, where "Naniwazu" was. It leads to the Nishikyogoku (Westernmost section) of "Kyo (Miya)". During the Asuka period, straight roads (roads) with a width of about 10 m continued. This may be hard to imagine, but the current Yodogawa and Kanzakigawa rivers were dug in later generations (Yodogawa was in the Meiji period and Kanzakigawa was in the end of the Nara period). It was an artificial river (canal) that did not exist at this time. "Settsu Kuni" was connected to the northern part of the center of Sakai City, from here to the "city (Naniwakyo)" where Osaka Castle was built. The song "Kyoko Narumichi" in the song "My father is a long-handled human pillar (bridge pillar) and the pheasant (Pheasant) is also shot" is a part of this road. [The place where the borders (Sakai) with "Settsu", "Kawachi no Kuni" and "Izumi no Kuni" gather is the origin of the town of Sakai. ] Osaka Bay entered from the west around here, and there was "Nagisa" nearby. The place name "Toyotsu" is a remnant of that. [Suita is located on the tongue-shaped "Suita Spit" where the earth and sand carried by the Yamada, Masajaku and Itoda rivers flowing from the Senri hills are deposited. "Unga" was dug in this sand spit so that a ship carrying timber for Heiankyo construction could pass through, and Kawachi around Osaka Bay and Hanaten. It connected the Yodo River that had flowed into the lagoon. Therefore, "Takahama Shrine" is enshrined because it is located high above the water surface along the canal. Then, ships from Sanuki, Awa, and Iyo became able to pass through, and the canal was called "Sagurigawa". That is the current "Kanzaki River". ] ○ Oji turns east here and goes along the "contour line" along the Senri hills toward Ibaraki in the northeast, in front of "Kishibe Shrine" where "Kishibe Shrine" is located, and around "Ichibaike". After passing through Yamada, I will go to Unobe. From that area, head toward "Mt. Tekurayama", which you can see to the north, and proceed again as a straight road. "Mishima" which connects to the ancient important road "Sanyo-do" near "Shimashimogunga = Ibaraki-shi-gun" near "Uenomura Umaya = Ueno, Ibaraki-shi" It will be the road (Mishima Michi / Mishimaji) (former Kameoka Highway = Prefectural Road No. 14 "Osaka / Takatsuki / Kyoto Line").

It is a shrine with an old history. I visit you regularly. The Fudo Festival is held on the 8th of every month. I visited the Fudo Festival in January for the first time. I'm glad to hear a valuable story from Mr. Miyaji.

Very beautiful shrine. We went for New years and it wasn't too crowded. Beautiful colors and decorations. Of course it's a smaller shrine, but worthwhile to visit when you are nearby.
