I would not dare buying fresh food there (as discounted place means lower quality) but it's great for all non-perishable goods. Also their neon signs are pretty old-fashioned and funny to see by night. Is also running 24/7
G	Grace Lee on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tamade can be a little skanky. This one however is excellent. Good meat selection, vegetables you won't find elsewhere such as shallots. All the staff are very friendly and helpful.

Around the corner from our accommodation which made it very handy for a quick snack or to grab some food for breakfast. Keep in mind: When you check out, your items go into another basket and you bag it yourself outside.

J	Julliard Lin on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Super Tamade is known for 1) their bright neon signage, and 2) having cheap food of dubious quality and freshness. This is one of the cleaner, brighter locations, though they've been sold out of the exact things I needed 75% of the times I've gone. If you grocery shop enough in Japan, you'll quickly learn that for most things, Tamade's prices are the same or even higher than other, "nicer" supermarkets. Produce and prepared foods are a better bet, but no need to come here for packaged items like sugar, soy sauce, drinks, etc.
