It will be the residence of Dom Justo Takayama, who is famous for the Christian daimyo of the Warring States period. Although it is a castle ruin, there is a simulated castle tower, but the remains of that time do not remain.

You can enjoy it together with Takatsuki City Shiroato History Museum.
The ruins of the castle are parks with stone monuments scattered around.
The stone wall of Takatsuki Castle came when it was used for JR (JNR). Sorry. ..

It feels quite disappointing as a historic site.
There are almost no stone walls and almost no territory can be seen.
If you don't tell me, you won't notice that it's a castle ruin.
It seems to be a place of relaxation for the citizens, but it has almost no tourist value.

The castle has been completely destroyed and is just a castle ruin park.
There is a stone wall of a simulated castle tower, but the place where it is reproduced is completely different.
However, the Sotobori trace is barely visible.
Currently, the place where the high school is built is Honmaru, but it has been severely flattened and the altitude is lower than the Nagai Shrine area.
The stone wall of the main enclosure remained until the middle of the Showa period, but it seems that it was buried together with the moat.
Ninomaru is currently a parking lot.
The final scale of Takatsuki Castle is estimated to be about 630m north-south x 600m east-west.
As for the buildings, the main temple gate of the castle temple town and the Karamon gate of Nagai shrine still exist as the relocated buildings in the castle.
In addition, there is a tradition that the warehouse of a private house in Tabe was a relocation of a building in the castle.

Originally it seems that it was a solid Hirajo, but the remains are extremely difficult to understand due to development and conversion to a park. In addition to the stone wall stones of the Masugata Gate, which is a moat-like pond, you can also see stones with arrow holes, but I wonder how real they are.
A statue of Dom Justo Takayama stands in the park.

The ruins of a castle with only a stone monument. Everyone misunderstands, but it is outside Takatsukijo Park and has nothing to do with the park. For some reason, you can see an object that looks like a stone wall in the school playground of Tsukinoki High School in Osaka Prefecture. You can tour through the fence.
Although it survived until the Meiji era, it was destroyed due to the construction of a railway in the 7th year of the Meiji era, and only the stone monument remains like this. At that time, things with the remnants of the shogunate would have been demolished, isn't it?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a nice park that my kids enjoy. The highlights are a pond with turtles and ducks, and a small traditional Japanese house that has displays of traditional crafts and nostalgic machines. The downside is that some of the playground equipment is concrete, so if kids aren't careful they can get some scrapes.
