村	村口英雄 on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 高尾山の東、初沢山を背景にして静けさ漂う階段を昇ると、菅原道真の大きな銅像が見えて、その背後に天神さんがある。この辺り一帯を“御衣公園”と言います。羽衣の名称は菅原道真が天皇から授かった衣を詠んだ「恩賜の衣、今ここにあり』に由来するとか…。境内のひと隅に初々しい姿の二宮金次郎の像がある。本を読ながら芝刈りに行く例のものです。菅原道真や二宮金次郎の像があるところをみると、やはり天神さんは勉学の神様のよぅです。木の間から見る丘陵は、すでに色付きはじめて晩秋の装いです。お詣りのあとはこの辺りを散策するのもいいと思います。裏山の初沢山は、さらに素晴らしい展望が待っています。 To the east of Mt.
