地元住民の方々は、やはりリスクを取ってでも再稼働賛成の方が多いのでしょうか。
次世代エネルギーとして注目される自然エネルギーは、まだまだ不安定で利用が難しい。火力は資源量や価格の問題があり、核融合炉は未来の技術。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 2017年のTHE MANZAIでウーマンラッシュアワーが「小さい地域に原発が4基あるんです」「電気はどこへ行くー！」とネタにしていた原発を見たくて来ました(大飯原発より近そうなので)。入口ゲートの向こう側にいた、ヘルメットを着用した従業員の方に、「外から写真を撮るだけなのですが、よろしいですか」と尋ねたら、「公道からの質問にはお答えできません」と言われました。ご自由にどうぞ、という意味だと解釈して、車を橋の手前に路上停車させ、外から眺めるためだけに手短に撮りました。
【行き方】国道27号の日置交差点から県道21号へ進み、点滅式の信号を高浜原電方面に直進して道なりに行くとすぐ着きます。本当はその信号を左折して山の上まで進んだのですが、よく見えるはずの対岸のスポットにはたどり着かず、行き着いた美術館で道を聞いて出直して、何とか正面に戻れた次第です。
個人的には、CO2を大量排出して地球温暖化に拍車をかける火力発電より、発電効力にも優れた原発は否定するべきではないと考えます。(2019年5月1日の雨の日)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 内浦湾の静かな海から見る4基の原子炉を見ることができます。特に、3-4号機は、円筒＋ドーム屋根になっていて見た目もかわいらしいです。そこから伸びる500kV送電線もよいアクセントとなり風景に溶け込んでいます。はやく再稼働するといいですね。
ただしちょっとアクセスが悪いのが難点でしょうか。
You can see four reactors seen from the quiet sea of Uchiura Bay. In particular, Unit 3-4 has a cylindrical + dome roof and looks pretty. The 500kV transmission line that extends from there is also a good accent and blends into the landscape. It would be nice to restart it soon.
However, is it a disadvantage that access is a little bad?
