★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 青梅橋（現：東大和市駅）の瘡守（かさもり）稲荷に祈り病気を治したこの地の人が、その霊験にあやかろうと居宅の近くにも同じお稲荷様を、伏見稲荷の別当寺からお稲荷様を招いて、この地にお祀りしたお社です（出展：「わが故郷 東大和」「狭山丘陵の麓で」「東大和市行ったり来たり」）。旧街道の辻、歴史を感じる民家の石垣の上に、小ぢんまりとお祀りされています。もとは個人宅の屋敷神だったようです。
