The owner, Takamoto Itami, was about 20 years old and trained at a fish wholesaler in Tsukiji and a friend's yakiniku restaurant for four years. The first store was opened in Ikebukuro in 2010, the second store in Shinjuku in 2014, and the third store Shinjuku Hanare in 2017. Gakugei University seems to be the fourth store.
