J	Jillian Law on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place was so good, I went twice and I was in Hiroshima for three days. Highly recommend, vegetarian and vegan options a plenty. Also lots of choice for non veg. The service was very good, super friendly staff and nice clean space with calming vibes. It was like a place of rest and peace for the body, true comfort especially on a rainy day. These noodles are like a hug for your insides.

Everything tasted so good, especially the tofu (such good flavor!) and the vegetable tempura. The portion sizes were generous and beautiful. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a delicious vegetarian/vegan meal.

The owner is the most friendly restaurant owner I’ve met. He saw me and my Muslim friends having trouble reading the menu, he kindly offered the English menu, and asked to confirm if the food we ordered were ok cuz some dishes weren’t vegan. Very respectful man. Vegan option and English menu available also. Udon soups are all fish broth (I think so?).

The restaurant is clean and has a great atmosphere. Now the purpose of this restaurant is what makes it extra special, the Udon, nothing was left. Simple but full of flavours! The staff and owner were kind enough to give us a Japanese dessert on the house. I would like to say thank you all for the lovely dinner tonight and definitely will come here when we visit Hiroshima again.

Great for vegetarians and vegans too (they have a veggie broth you can exchange for any udon). English menus available. Super cute (in my opinion). So happy to have found it!

Vegan broth option for cold & hot udon dishes, free larger portions offered at lunchtime. Good musubi rice balls & tasty desserts (Warabi mochi) and for vegetarians great soft serve ice/cream with colorful snack puffs on it. Good quality reusable utensils travel set for sale as well as handmade noodles for souvenirs or home use. All dishes, cups, bowls reusable so wish they’d use reusable chopsticks instead of disposable chopsticks for added #sustainability measure to reduce waste- but otherwise perfect.

We ordered the vegan set that came with 4 side dishes (tofu, soy beans, lotus root balls and tempura). It was absolutely delicious! On top of this, we got the vegan udon, which was amazing. The best part was that two of the waiters spoke perfect English! Also, we ordered a beer and it was poured to perfection, and was the smoothest beer I've ever had in Japan. Highly recommend this place for both vegans and vegetarians (as well as meat eaters). Definitely a must when visiting Hiroshima or authentic Japanese food.
