★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 長閑で穏やかな場所。紅葉の季節は抜群な景色を楽しめる。会津坂下インターからゆっくり走って約2時間。金山町から所々道幅が狭いところあり。
 A quiet and peaceful place. You can enjoy the outstanding scenery during the autumn leaves season. It takes about 2 hours to drive slowly from the Aizubange interchange. There are places where the road width is narrow from Kanayama Town.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 新潟県側からはトンネル抜けてすぐを右に曲がる。福島県側からは右カーブ曲がってトンネルに入る手前を左に曲がって入る。トンネルとカーブがブラインドなので駐車場に入る際少し早めにウィンカー出すことをお勧めします。景色がいいですが道中にはあまり路側帯がないです。わき見運転注意。結構トラックとかも走っているが道路狭くカーブきついのでブラインドコーナーは注意が必要です。
From the Niigata prefecture side, turn right immediately after passing through the tunnel. From the Fukushima side, turn right and turn left before entering the tunnel. Since the tunnel and curve are blind, it is recommended to turn on the turn signal a little early when entering the parking lot. The scenery is nice, but there aren't many roadside belts along the way. Be careful when driving aside. There are quite a few trucks running, but the roads are narrow and the curves are tight, so be careful of the blind corners.

天気が良ければキレイだろうな。

うっすら雲がかかった幻想的な
ダムを見ることができました。
お店は地元の特産品が並んでいて
軽食もあるみたいでした。
新潟に抜ける道唯一のお店なので
ここを逃すとずっーと山道です！
Unfortunately it was raining
Fantastic with a slight cloud
I was able to see the dam.
The shop is lined with local specialties
There seemed to be light meals as well.
It ’s the only shop on the road to Niigata.
If you miss this place, it's a mountain road!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 道路を走りながらダムを下から見ると恐怖を感じる程です。峠道のようになってダム上部へ辿り着きました。
山々に囲まれる美しい場所です。
少し惜しかったのは、行きの時晴れていたのが帰りに寄ったときは曇ってしまったこと。おそらく晴れていた時に寄っていればより綺麗な水面を見る事が出来たでしょう。
Looking at the dam from below while driving on the road makes me feel scared. I arrived at the upper part of the dam like a mountain pass.
It is a beautiful place surrounded by mountains.
What was a little regrettable was that it was sunny when I went, but it became cloudy when I came back. Perhaps I could have seen a cleaner water surface if I stopped by when it was sunny.

ツーリングの人たちがたくさん来てました。ダム湖ですが、新緑がきれいな季節に言ったのでとってもきれいですがすがしかったです。
トイレはまぁまぁきれい…
It is a large dam lake located in Fukushima from Niigata.
A lot of touring people came. It's a dam lake, but it was very beautiful but refreshing because I said it was in the season when the fresh green was beautiful.
The toilet is pretty clean ...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 新潟の魚沼から福島会津方面に向かう際の休憩スポットとして良く立ち寄ります。コロナの影響か売店は閉まっていましたが、眺望も良く、自販機とトイレが有るだけでも休憩に最適です。
I often stop by as a resting spot when heading from Uonuma in Niigata to Fukushima Aizu. The shop was closed due to the influence of Corona, but the view is good, and just having a vending machine and a toilet is perfect for a break.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 道の駅きらら289に車中泊して、朝に出発し只見を抜けて訪ねました✨。
只見を流れる川を覆う川霧が幻想的でしたが、只見湖に着くと湖一面が霧に覆われ、田子倉ダムの勇姿も霧の奥に霞んで見えてました。初めての経験でしたが、只見湖の霧がダムを超えて下流に流れる光景も神秘的で歓声を上げるほどでした??。
上流の田子倉湖は更に濃い霧なのかと思い馳せつつ坂道を登り、ここ田子倉レイクビューに着くと良い意味で裏切られ、湖面と空のブルー、雲のホワイト、森林のグリーンのコントラストに、本日２度目の歓声を上げてしまいました??。
幸運に感謝感謝な、涼やかな湖畔の朝でした?。
We stayed at Kirara 289 Road Station in the car, left in the morning, and visited through Tadami.
The river fog that covers the river that flows through Tadami was fantastic, but when I arrived at Tadami Lake, the entire lake was covered with fog, and the brave figure of the Tagokura Dam was hazy in the depths of the fog. It was my first experience, but the sight of the fog of Lake Tadami flowing downstream beyond the dam was mysterious and cheerful ??.
Climbing the slope while thinking that the upstream Tagokura Lake is a thicker fog, and arriving here at Tagokura Lake View, it is betrayed in a good way, and the contrast between the lake surface and the sky blue, the cloud white, and the forest green is the second time today. I cheered ??.
